Junior Python Developer
About the position:
We are looking for a back-end python developer to join our dynamic start up company at Sync.ME.
The candidate will join the development of our web-based APIs.
The job involves both server development and maintenance of the infrastructure surrounding it, using open source technologies, and popular web hosting services.
We are Looking for a self learner who can work independently on developing code and managing servers.
Experience:
* At least 2+ years of proven experience in developing WEB Applications using Python is required.
Requirements:
* 2+ years of Python web development experience.
* 1+ years of exp. with:
* Python, bash and SQL.
* NoSQL, InMemory databases.
* Working on Linux Operating Systems.
* Working in a team using Version Control tools, such as Git.
* Working in a team re-using design patterns.
* Proven experience with any open source web framework.
Advantages:
* (+10) Experience with the Django web framework.
* (+8) MongoDB and Redis experience (in development and production).
* (+8) Experience with Git version control.
* (+6) Familiarity with Social network APIs (such as Facebook Graph).
* (+4) Familiarity with SaaS and IaaS, such as Amazon AWS (EC2, S3, CloudFront) or similar (e.g. Google AppEngine services).
* (+2) Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
* (+2) Familiarity with CI/CD
* (+2) Familiarity with Docker / Ansible / Fabfile
