This is in English since the main requirement is English as native language, knowing Hebrew is optional.
Gizra is a 20+ person company, located in central Tel Aviv. We work solely with Open Source techologies, some of our products are themselves released as Open Source.
Among our clients are Harvard University, the European Commission, the UN and others. These guys don’t communicating in Hebrew, so we’re looking for a strong English writer to help us with writing product copy, replying to bids, editing our website content etc.
You will need to be comfortable with Google Docs (it’s pretty easy) and be willing to do mundane tasks like fixing fonts in a document as well as the fun stuff like writing copy for a brand new product. As a small company, we do what needs to be done - nothing is above our paygrade or below our rank.
You will not need to maintain a company Instagram, write fluffy BS to keep our blog/Twitter filled with content, deal with “SEO experts” etc
It’s a significant bonus if you have some understanding of technology: you don’t have to know how to code, but it’s important to know what “code” is, what is “Open Source” etc.
Most importantly you should be good person we can rely on and enjoy working with.
